Nathan Metheny
Nathan Metheny joined Fort in December 2022 as an Economic Strategist and later transitioned into his current role of Research Scientist. In this role, he will be leading the algorithmic development and advancement of Fort’s cutting-edge ML/AI technologies.
Prior to joining Fort, Nathan paired his technological background with his real estate knowledge to perform in-depth market research for several multi-billion-dollar firms, research that spanned from broad-based macroeconomic indicators to intricate regional trends. Fort was an outlier with its standout culture and operations process, and after developing a strong working relationship, he was eager to join the team when awarded the opportunity.
Nathan graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in International Business and an MS in Applied Artificial Intelligence from the University of San Diego. Following his BA, Nathan completed an online ‘study-abroad’ internship with a Singaporean quantitative real estate investment firm, building large-scale machine learning systems within the real estate sector, and obtained a certification in Applied Machine Learning from MIT.
In his free time, he loves to read, work out, spend time with family, and hike the trails of Appalachia.
