Kim Mitchell
Kim Mitchell developed a relationship working with Fort in 2018 coming on board with TIG to work exclusively on the Fort portfolio. During this time, she worked closely with the Accounting and Asset Management Teams of Fort as well as TIG’s property management group to prepare monthly financial reporting. Kim transitioned from TIG to Fort in September of 2020 continuing her work with this portfolio. In December of 2021, Kim was promoted to Senior Property Accountant and promoted to her current role of Director of Property Accounting in December 2022.
Kim has 15 years of accounting experience including 5 years as a Controller of a church in Oklahoma where she began her career as a financial secretary. After moving to Texas with her husband and two children in 2014, she worked as Property Accountant for Landmark Real Estate in Austin and realized she really enjoyed real estate accounting. Relocating to Dallas, she joined TIG in 2018 and began her relationship with Fort.
Kim loves spending time with friends and family, especially her grown children who are beginning their lives in the DFW area! She and her husband love to travel and spend time outside and on the water.
