THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Asset Analyst to join our team and be responsible for tracking and reporting on the performance of our assets. This person needs to constantly be in tune with all performance aspects of our assets.

Will you be our data guru on all things related to the financial performance of our portfolio assets? RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working directly with Fort’s Finance, Accounting, and Property Management teams on the operational performance of assets, including leasing performance, refinance timing, disposition timing, and monthly distributions.
• Reviewing asset-level financials to confirm the accuracy and compare against original underwriting.
• Preparing post-closing operating models to include actual project costs and capitalization.
• Updating operating models based on actual performance and assisting in the evaluation of asset performance across portfolios.
• Recommending new operational strategies based on current asset performance and market trends.
• Assisting VP of Finance and EVP of Accounting in the preparation of Quarterly Investor Reporting.
• Preparing Loan Request packets for new loans and refinances.
• Ensuring current Loan Portfolio is in compliance by monitoring debt portfolio and sending lenders required financial reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-4 years of experience, preferably as an analyst.
• Degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including an understanding of financial statements and discounted cash flow models.
• Experience with Yardi, ARGUS, Excel, and other Commercial Real Estate tools.
